The Anoush Cup is the fundraising charity golf day which, hosted by the Anoush Memorial Foundation, has been staged annually since 2007.
The first was held at Aston Wood Golf Club where 32 friends and family members played in the tournament and another 30 attended the prize-giving dinner.
The event has grown significantly since then and in 2012 moved to Branston Golf and Country Club, a bigger venue which has become its home.
The Anoush Cup is now regularly supported by 100 golfers with 200 people attending the fundraising and prize-giving evening meal. The day has a great family feel to it with many friends and family meeting up every year to enjoy the occasion and remember Anoush.
One of the key features of the Anoush Cup is the brightly coloured polo shirt worn by each golfer. The colour changes very year and the sight of 100 golfers, all wearing their Anoush Cup polo shirt, relaxing after their round on the terrace behind the 18th green is fantastic to see. What's more, it fuels the great sense of togetherness which typifies the Anoush Cup family.
So far the Anoush Cup has raised more than £60,000 for the Anoush Memorial Foundation. This has been possible by the generosity of all the golfers, friends and family and also Corporate Partners, Trak Global, Carrot, Corporate Connection, RTR, RS Connect and Cope.
