The Anoush Memorial Foundation
The Anoush Memorial Foundation was founded in 2007 in memory of Anoush Mahmoudzadeh who was tragically killed in a road accident at the age of 18 earlier that year.
The aim of the Foundation is primarily to remember Anoush by raising funds for many charitable causes. It brings together Anoush's family, friends and colleagues to take part in events hosted by the Foundation.
The Foundation's main charity event is the Anoush Cup - a golf tournament that has been staged annually since 2007 and raised more than £60,000! Other events such as the Three Peaks Challenge and charity walks have raised money for charity.
Charities that have benefited from the Foundation's fundraising activities to date include: The Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Breast Cancer Care, Teenage Cancer Trust and U.K. Youth. The aim now is to increase the number of charities, both national and local, that will benefit from the Foundation's work. In addition, there are plans to broaden the fundraising activities to support them.
The Anoush Memorial Foundation would like to thank everyone who has supported previous events, especially its corporate partners: Trak Global, Carrot, Corporate Connection, RTR, RS Connect and Cope . Their generosity has been crucial to the Foundation's fundraising activities.
We have lift off - book now for 14th Anoush Cup
Bookings are now being taken for the 14th Anoush Cup which will be staged at Branston Golf and Country Club on July 22.
The deadline to book a place is Friday May 27 but demand to take part in a massively popular and competitively-priced event is likely to be huge, especially as it hasn't been staged for the past two years because of the pandemic.
In which case, the event could be over-subscribed and the advice is to access the booking form via this link and complete and return it as soon as possible.
